Applied Behavior Analysis Degree Program
The Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program is designed to prepare students for impactful careers working with individuals who have autism, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and other related conditions. Majors become familiar with contemporary research findings in the field and learn to develop, implement, and monitor behavioral programs to treat various behavior issues.
Central Methodist University offers a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. The CMU ABA program meets the requirements for the required Behavior-Analytic Coursework described in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) BCaBA Eligibility Requirements for Pathway 2 (Please see the BCaBA Handbook for Eligibility Requirements.). Upon completion of the course sequence and supervision hours (not obtained at CMU), you will be eligible to sit for the BCaBA (Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst) exam.

About This Program
The ABA program equips students with the knowledge and skills to support individuals with special learning and behavioral needs through the principles of applied behavior analysis. Students will gain expertise in conducting behavioral assessments and in implementing, supervising, and evaluating behavior analytic interventions.
As a CMU Applied Behavior Analysis major, you will have opportunities to:
