About This Program
The MME program at CMU is primarily designed for the growth and advancement of teaching professionals:
- Focus on practical teaching techniques, musical interpretation, and current music education issues.
- Enrollment involves nine or ten credit hours per summer over three consecutive summers.
- Three short residencies are required each summer for intensive coursework and building a community of scholars.
- Central Methodist University is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
