INTRAMURAL & CLUB SPORTS
CMU offers a wide variety of Intramural and Club Sports for students. Any interested student, is encouraged to get involved in the intramural or club sport of their choice. Most intramural sports leagues will take place on Mondays and Thursdays unless otherwise noted. Smaller tournaments will be held throughout the year for certain sports.
Club Sports are a great opportunity for students of Central Methodist University. Our Club Sport teams represents Central Methodist University's competitive athletic opportunities against other colleges and universities. Many clubs compete at an elite level and all are expected to strive to be national champions in their sport and league. Club Sports are sponsored by our Recreational Center. In 2018, our Men's Flag Football team got 5th in the Nebraska Regional Championship. Our Women's Flag Football team has gotten second place in the Nebraska Regional Championship in 2016 and 2017. Our Women's Basketball team has also won the MOIRSA State Basketball Tournament in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
