Soaring High, Aiming Higher

OUR GOAL: $4 Million

Baseball and softball field

In recent years, the Central Methodist University baseball and softball teams have been two of the most successful athletic programs on campus. Both teams have finished their seasons in the NAIA National Championship Tournament several years in a row, with players and coaches earning awards at the conference and national levels. And, if on-field success was not enough, the teams are also among the rosters with the highest team GPAs on campus.

These achievements coincided with the upgrading of our artificial turf fields in 2022, signaling a promising future for our Eagles. With ongoing enhancements to the facilities at Estes Baseball Field and Cox Softball Complex, we anticipate even greater accomplishments ahead.

Support Eagle Pride

More Than a Game—A Legacy

Elevating Eagle Pride through every pitch and play

With upgraded facilities, the softball and baseball programs can become an even greater source of campus pride. With fewer rained out games, better game environments, and improved fan experiences, Eagle student-athletes can continue to soar to new heights. The added benefits of being able to host outside teams and tournaments and getting greater use of the facilities as a campus makes the investment even stronger.

The Plans

Our student-athletes, as well as the Fayette community, stand to benefit substantially from a number of upgrades to the facilities, including:

  • Upgraded clubhouses with locker rooms for CMU teams, Fayette High School teams, visiting teams, and umpires
  • Premium outdoor hitting facilities
  • State-of-the-art pitching facilities

Additional improvements will make the game day experience even better for our fans, families, and staff:

  • Jumbo scoreboard and state-of-the-art PA system
  • Improved broadcasting ability for streaming and radio
  • Bleacher expansion and safety netting
  • Improved concession stands and restrooms
