Campus Ministry Scholarship Application Form
The Campus Ministry scholarship is a co-curricular scholarship of $2,500 per academic year that is awarded based on your willingness to serve as a leader in our campus ministries. This scholarship is awarded to students on CMU's main campus in Fayette, MO who are enrolled at full-time status and maintain a 2.0 GPA. Students who receive this scholarship meet on a weekly basis with the Campus Chaplain, Rev. Scotty Wall, and serve 3-5 hours a week in a leadership role within some aspect(s) of the ministry. This often looks like leading in Chapel through the reading of Scripture, praying, and helping with set-up and clean-up. It can also be as involved as helping plan Chapel, preaching, or leading a Bible study on campus.
In order to be eligible for this award, an individual in good academic standing with the university must complete a Campus Ministry scholarship application, complete a personal interview with the Campus Chaplain, and meet the program expectations.
Campus Ministry scholarship recipients will be expected to:
- Meet weekly with the Campus Chaplain
- Participate in weekly Chapel services
- Spend 3-5 hours a week in a leadership role within some aspect of the ministry
