Math Placement
The math placement is offered to those students wanting to test out of the pre-algebra course MA090. Students need to speak with their advisor prior to making an appointment with the Testing Office.
The math placement exam is free, and has a no-limit retake. There are 100 questions/problems, and students are given two hours to complete the exam. A total of 50-74 correct answers will move a student to the 5-hour College Algebra Intensive course MA103I or 5-hour Quantitative Reasoning Intensive course MA109I. A score of 75 or more correct answers will move a student to the 3-hour College Algebra course MA103 or 3-hour Quantitative Reasoning course MA109.
